If you do not have your own machine, you may join any number of snowmobile tours offered in the area. Our guests have enjoyed traveling with High Country Snowmobiles, www.snowmobile-tours.com, or 802-464-2108. The most popular tours leave from the base of Mount Snow, and go into the Green Mountain National Forest to the frozen Somerset Reservoir. There are a variety of lengths to choose from: 1 or 2 hours, half day, or all day, and you can ride single or double. They provide the snowmobile as well as operation and riding instruction. It is very popular, so contact them as soon as possible and they will be happy to assist you in determining the best option for you.
If you do own a snowmobile, we have plenty of room for parking it for you. We are located adjacent to two access points to the VAST trail network. This well-maintained system of trails covers the state from Massachusetts to Canada. You will need a VAST pass to use the trails, we can direct you on obtaining one.
